Manifestazione davanti alle ambasciate statunitense e israeliana ad Atene
“I popoli non hanno bisogno di protettori; l’UE e la NATO sono gli unici terroristi” e “Libertà per la Palestina” erano tra gli slogan gridati dai manifestanti davanti all’ambasciata statunitense durante una protesta che condannava i bombardamenti letali compiuti da Stati Uniti e Israele. Gli americani, in nome della “liberazione” delle donne e dei bambini iraniani, hanno ucciso, tra gli altri, 148 bambini, genitori e insegnanti in una scuola elementare femminile e hanno ferito decine di bambini. Organizzazioni di sinistra, collettivi e gruppi di solidarietà hanno indetto la marcia. ANTARSYA, dopo la manifestazione davanti all’ambasciata statunitense, ha proseguito la marcia verso quella israeliana.
Dichiarazione di Liberazione Comunista
Liberazione Comunista esprime la sua ferma condanna per il nuovo attacco dell’alleanza terroristica tra Stati Uniti e Israele contro l’Iran.
Ciò che stavano da tempo preparando — con il sostegno del governo greco e della base di Souda — ha avuto luogo stamane. Si tratta dell’ennesimo episodio del tentativo di Stati Uniti e Israele di mantenere l’egemonia globale e regionale. Ciò è la preoccupazione della loro alleanza terroristica, null’altro.
In un momento in cui il governo greco si sta legando ancora più strettamente al carro di Stati Uniti e Israele, celebrando l’intensificazione strategica della loro cooperazione, è dovere di tutti noi opporci fermamente all’attacco contro l’Iran.
Liberazione Comunista estenderà presso altre organizzazioni e il movimento contro la guerra l’iniziativa di organizzare una manifestazione: una risposta immediata.
Giù le mani dall’Iran! Fermate subito gli attacchi e l’embargo contro di esso!
Nessuna partecipazione, nessun coinvolgimento, nessun aiuto dalla Grecia alla guerra di Stati Uniti e Israele!

In risposta all’annuncio del governo di Nuova Democrazia di inviare due fregate a Cipro, oltre a una coppia di caccia F-16, Liberazione Comunista chiede una rivolta contro la guerra affinché la Grecia non sia coinvolta nella guerra USA-Israele contro l’Iran, e per la chiusura e la rimozione delle basi americane e britanniche da Grecia e Cipro.

Fuori le basi da Grecia e Cipro Nessun coinvolgimento, nessuna partecipazione agli interventi
Finora ci è stato detto che le basi militari straniere sul nostro territorio sono lì per proteggerci. Ora le basi straniere chiedono la nostra protezione. Ci chiedono di sacrificare risorse e persone per difenderle.
L’invio di due fregate greche e due caccia F-16 a Cipro, con il pretesto di proteggerla dagli attacchi missilistici iraniani, costituisce un passo decisivo nella pericolosa escalation lungo il pendio scivoloso del coinvolgimento del nostro Paese nella moderna crociata dell’alleanza USA-Israele e di altri volenterosi partner contro l’Iran. Dà prova di quanto sia stata pericolosa la politica del governo di Nuova Democrazia – e dei governi precedenti – nell’integrare il nostro Paese nell’asse bellico Grecia-Cipro-Israele-Egitto. Dà prova, secondo una prospettiva omicida, di quale sia l’essenza della guerrafondaia alleanza NATO-UE, di quali siano gli obiettivi di “Rearm Europe” e del motivo per cui vogliono strangolare economicamente i popoli per finanziare i loro programmi di armamento.
Le due fregate greche e i due aerei non offriranno alcuna reale protezione. Questa è chiaramente una dichiarazione di disponibilità a un ulteriore coinvolgimento del nostro Paese. Questa è anche la prima missione di guerra della fregata Belharra, per la quale la popolazione ha pagato circa un miliardo di euro presumibilmente per la “difesa”, ma che in definitiva è destinata a guerre imperialiste. Il governo sta mettendo in pericolo immediato la vita degli equipaggi. Forse le recenti dichiarazioni di Dendias [Ministro della Difesa greco] sulle “bare avvolte nelle bandiere della Grecia e dell’UE” sono ora più vicine che mai a diventare realtà.
La verità è che l’unica protezione efficace per Cipro, la Grecia e altri popoli è il non coinvolgimento, la non partecipazione al nuovo massacro, alla nuova barbara campagna imperialista di Stati Uniti e Israele.
Le basi britanniche a Cipro, così come la base americana di Suda, devono essere chiuse e non utilizzate nella guerra contro l’Iran. Ricordiamo che le basi britanniche a Cipro costituiscono territorio occupato, un residuo del colonialismo britannico che appartiene ai Territori Britannici d’Oltremare. Oltre a essere territorio occupato, ora rappresentano anche un fattore di pericolo per il popolo cipriota.
Che suoni immediatamente un allarme anti-guerra!
Fuori le basi americano-britanniche-NATO in Grecia e Cipro! Nessun utilizzo della basi nella guerra sporca contro l’Iran! Fuori dalla NATO! Nessun coinvolgimento o partecipazione agli interventi! Non combatteremo, non moriremo per i loro interessi! Nessun soldato oltre i confini! Solidarietà tra i popoli, pace, lotta comune internazionalista.

“The peoples have no need for protectors; the EU and NATO are the only terrorists” and “Freedom for Palestine,” were among the slogans shouted by demonstrators outside the U.S. embassy during a protest condemning the deadly bombings carried out by the U.S. and Israel. The Americans, in the name of the “liberation” of Iran’s women and children, killed, among others, 148 children, parents, and teachers at a girls’ elementary school and injured dozens of children. Left-wing organizations, collectives, and solidarity groups called for the march. ANTARSYA, after the demonstration outside the U.S. embassy, continued the march toward the Israeli embassy.

Communist Liberation expresses its strong condemnation of the new strike by the terrorist alliance of the U.S. and Israel against Iran.
What they had been preparing for some time — with the support of the Greek government and the Souda base — took place this morning. This is yet another episode in the effort by the U.S. and Israel to maintain global and regional hegemony. This, and nothing else, is the concern of their terrorist alliance.
At a time when the Greek government is tying itself even more tightly to the chariot of the U.S. and Israel, celebrating the strategic deepening of their cooperation, it is the duty of all of us to stand firmly opposed to the attack against Iran.
Communist Liberation will take the initiative toward other organizations and the anti-war movement for a demonstration — an immediate response.
Hands off Iran! Stop the attacks and the embargo against it now!
No participation — no involvement — no assistance from Greece in the U.S.–Israel war!
No Greek soldier in Gaza!
Everyone to the anti-war, anti-imperialist demonstrations!

In response to the announcement by the New Democracy government that it will send two frigates to Cyprus, as well as a pair of F-16 fighter jets, Communist Liberation calls for an anti-war uprising so that there is no involvement of Greece in the US-Israel war against Iran, and for the closure and removal of the American and British bases from Greece and Cyprus.

Out with the bases from Greece and Cyprus No involvement – no participation in the interventions
Until now, we were told that the foreign military bases on our soil are there to protect us. Now the foreign bases are asking for our protection. They are demanding that we sacrifice resources and people in order to defend them.
The dispatch of two Greek frigates and two F-16 fighter aircraft to Cyprus, under the pretext of protecting it from Iran’s missile attacks, constitutes a decisive step in the dangerous escalation down the slippery slope of our country’s involvement in the modern crusade of the US-Israel alliance and other willing partners against Iran. It proves how dangerous the policy of the New Democracy government — and of previous governments — has been in integrating our country into the war axis of Greece-Cyprus-Israel-Egypt. It shows in a murderous way what the warmongering NATO-EU alliance is about, what “Rearm Europe” aims at, and why they want to economically strangle the peoples in order to fund their armament programs.
The two Greek frigates and the two aircraft will offer no real protection. This is clearly a declaration of willingness for further involvement of our country. This is also the first war mission of the Belharra frigate, for which the people paid around one billion euros supposedly for “defense,” but which is ultimately destined for imperialist wars. The government is placing the lives of the crews in immediate danger. Perhaps Dendias [Greek Defence minister]’ recent statements about “coffins wrapped in the flags of Greece and the EU” are now closer than ever to becoming reality.
The truth is that the only effective protection for Cyprus, Greece, and other peoples is non-involvement — non-participation in the new massacre, in the new barbaric imperialist campaign of the US and Israel.
The British bases in Cyprus, as well as the American base at Souda, must be closed and not used in the war against Iran. We remind that the British bases in Cyprus constitute occupied territory, a remnant of British colonialism that belongs to the British Overseas Territories. Beyond being occupied land, they are now also a factor of danger for the Cypriot people.
Let an anti-war alarm sound immediately!
Out with the American-British-NATO bases from Greece and Cyprus! No use of them in the dirty war against Iran! Out of NATO! No involvement or participation in interventions! We will not fight, we will not die for their interests! No soldier beyond the borders! Solidarity among peoples, peace, internationalist common struggle.
