Un nostro caro amico e compagno ci segnala l’articolo di Neve Gordon comparso su “Al Jazeera” che documenta come Israele riscrive le leggi della guerra, il diritto internazionale, anzi: il diritto in generale, il concetto stesso di legalità. In sostanza: “TUTTO QUANTO FA ISRAELE, È LEGALE. Per loro. E per tanti altri!” (i sostenitori dello stato colonialista e confessionale di Israele). Del resto, “Chi ha mai detto che uccidere tre milioni di persone in Vietnam non era LEGALE!? Chi comanda, fa la legge”. Infatti: è la forza che fa la legge, nel caso di Israele il terrore, il terrorismo di stato.

Ecco perché, a differenza dei toni trionfalistici di Abu Mazen, il capo della “Autorità palestinese” collaborazionista con lo stato di Israele, non attribuiamo grande importanza alla risoluzione della Corte di Giustizia dell’ONU che considera illegale l’occupazione di Cisgiordania, Gerusalemme Est e Gaza da parte di Israele, e ordina (si fa per dire, eh) di “porvi fine immediatamente, così come alla costruzione di colonie e all’appropriazione indebita di risorse palestinesi, e offrire riparazioni ai palestinesi”. Nella stessa decisione la Corte afferma che gli stati e le agenzie dell’ONU “hanno l’obbligo di non riconoscere alcuna conseguenza legale dell’occupazione israeliana”…
Certo, una simile decisione può apportare qualche piccolo fastidio ad Israele e ai suoi protettori di fronte all’”opinione pubblica mondiale”, ma resta il dato di fatto materiale – opera del terrorismo di stato sionista – che la principale agenzia dell’ONU a Gaza, l’UNRWA, è stata spazzata via dalle bombe e dal massacro dei suoi funzionari, e dichiarata illegale e complice del “terrorismo palestinese” dalla banda di Netanyahu nella pressoché totale indifferenza degli “stati dell’ONU”.
E quanto poi a questi stati, sono decenni che approvano risoluzioni contro le “violazioni della legge internazionale” da parte di Israele, senza muovere un dito per contrastare realmente tali violazioni. Per non parlare, poi, dei grandi protettori di Israele: Stati Uniti ed Unione europea. Gli stessi stati arabi hanno cessato – tutti! – di essere in conflitto con Israele dal 1973, e via via stanno concludendo anche formali accordi di pace con lo stato sionista, che sono altrettanti aiuti alla guerra di Israele contro il popolo palestinese.
La Russia? La Cina? Informatevi sullo sviluppo delle loro relazioni economiche con Israele, fondamentali per la forza della sua macchina del terrore che schiaccia il popolo palestinese, e ne avrete la risposta. Informatevi, se avete tempo, anche sulla stretta collaborazione tra Israele e Cina nelle attività di “counterterrorism”, e su quanto di cinese c’è nei sistemi di sorveglianza di massa israeliani sui palestinesi. Il resto appartiene alle ipocrite schermaglie della diplomazia…
La risposta di Netanyahu alla Corte dell’ONU non si è fatta attendere: anzitutto altre bombe su Gaza, e scagliate proprio sulle “zone protette” dichiarate tali da Israele, per dare ancora una volta dimostrazione di cosa è per i governanti di Tel Aviv il diritto; e poi l’affermazione beffarda: “Non possiamo essere occupanti su una terra che è nostra”. Ha omesso di specificare chi gliel’ha assegnata (Jahweh), ma l’ha fatto più volte, con abile retorica, paragonando i palestinesi agli amaleciti, da sterminare per ordine non negoziabile di “Dio”. Insomma per i governanti di Israele (e non solo per loro) c’è un diritto che sta al vertice di tutti i diritti: il diritto divino al genocidio!
Non sarà il “diritto internazionale”, non saranno le Corti dell’Aja a liberare dai suoi tormenti il popolo palestinese. Sarà solo la resistenza delle masse oppresse e sfruttate palestinesi, del mondo arabo e dell’intero Medio-Oriente, con l’uso di tutte le armi necessarie a sconfiggere un potere coloniale di illimitata criminalità e violenza terroristica, con l’aiuto dei movimenti solidali che negli Stati Uniti, in Europa e nel resto del mondo dovranno indebolire e – se possibile – troncare la miriade di legami che danno linfa alla macchina genocida dell’occupazione della Palestina.

That is why, contrary to the triumphalist tones of Abu Mazen, the head of the “Palestinian Authority” who collaborates with the state of Israel, we do not attach great importance to the resolution of the UN Court of Justice that considers Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza illegal, and orders (so to speak…) to “put an end to it immediately, as well as the construction of settlements and the misappropriation of Palestinian resources, and offer reparations to the Palestinians.” In the same decision, the Court states that UN states and agencies “have an obligation not to recognize any legal consequences of the Israeli occupation”…
Of course, such a decision may cause some minor annoyance to Israel and its protectors in the eyes of “world public opinion”, but the material fact remains – the work of Zionist state terrorism – that the main UN agency in Gaza, UNRWA, has been wiped out by bombs and the massacre of its officials, and declared illegal and complicit in “Palestinian terrorism” by Netanyahu’s gang in the almost total indifference of the “UN states”.
And as for these states, they have been passing resolutions against Israel’s “violations of international law” for decades, without lifting a finger to actually counter these violations. Not to mention, then, the great protectors of Israel: the United States and the European Union. The Arab states themselves have ceased – all of them! – to have been in conflict with Israel since 1973, and they are gradually concluding formal peace agreements with the Zionist state, which are as much aid to Israel’s war against the Palestinian people.
Russia? China? Find out about the development of their economic relations with Israel, fundamental to the strength of its terror machine that crushes the Palestinian people, and you will have the answer. Find out, if you have time, also about the close collaboration between Israel and China in “counterterrorism” activities, and about how much Chinese there is in Israeli mass surveillance systems on Palestinians. The rest belongs to the hypocritical skirmishes of diplomacy.
Netanyahu’s response to the UN Court was not long in coming: first of all more bombs on Gaza, and hurled precisely on the “protected zones” declared as such by Israel, to demonstrate once again what the right; and then the mocking statement: “We cannot be occupiers on land that is ours.” He failed to specify who assigned it to him (Jahweh), but he did so several times, with skillful rhetoric, comparing the Palestinians to the Amalekites, to be exterminated by non-negotiable order of “God”. In short, for the rulers of Israel (and not only for them) there is a right that stands at the pinnacle of all rights: the divine right to genocide!
It will not be “international law”, it will not be the Courts of The Hague that will free the Palestinian people from their torments. It will only be the resistance of the oppressed and exploited Palestinian masses, of the Arab world and of the entire Middle East, with the use of all the weapons necessary to defeat a colonial power of unlimited criminality and terrorist violence, with the help of solidarity movements that in the United States, Europe and the rest of the world will have to weaken and – if possible – sever the myriad of ties that give life to the genocidal machine of the occupation of Palestine.
